I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (Hong Kong) in Feb 2017
Interview
The process took nearly a month. First you filled in all the informations and they will send you an Uber analytical test invitation. Once you completed it and passed, they will tell you to move to the next step within a week, which was a creative test and they will ask you to come up with an one time marketing event that can draw more signups as well as making a list of marketing campaigns to achieve the same objective. If you passed, you will be invited to participate in a group interview, where 4 people will be in the same group and we are required to discuss two questions. 20 minutes discussion time for a question. After you finished the discussion, you are required to pick one question that you have discussed and give out a presentation.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Uber
Interview
The whole process was very poorly managed and seemed erratic, and lasted over several months.
The first interview was supposed to be a screening interview with the HR. The HR manager postponed the interview 5 times, sometimes only a few hours before our interview, without even asking me if I were available. He ended up never showing up to our interview. He sent me a 2-hour analytical test to do, which I did (and seemed to have passed even though I never received any feedback about it).
After this, I had given up on Uber - the way the HR treated me showed me that the culture was bad enough (not respecting people's time).
Eventually, a few weeks later, an Uber Eats manager contacted me for an interview, which I passed - followed by a 2nd interview a week later with the General Manager of Uber Eats. I had absolutely zero fit with the GM, which was quite arrogant, small minded (contrary to the first Uber manager I spoke to) and had preconceived ideas about how the business should be.
I had no news from Uber from several weeks - until eventually, after following up, I received an automatic email saying that I was not a good fit. Fair enough :)
