I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Thoughtworks (Chile) in Mar 2025
Interview
I was contacted by the recruitment team for the role of UX Writer. But, after the first couple of interviews and a more detailed look at my profile, they pivoted and presented me the opportunity to apply for a Service Designer (XD Researcher) role they were looking for a client. Sadly, my relocation to the Netherlands and the option to work remotely was non-negotiable for them, so the process was finished before it could be completed.
The process and steps that I did participate in before it was finished was:
1. An interview with the recruitment team. [Completed]
2. Technical interview with the design team. [Completed]
3. Culture interview. [Completed]
4. Leadership interview. [Completed]
5. Practical challenge involving the Thoughtworks client whom they were looking the role for. [Not completed]
6. Client interview and challenge result presentation. [Not completed]
It was a long process. Four different interviews, and what I imagine would've been a complex client challenge, left a sour feeling after the experience because I spent a lot of time just to be discarded quickly and ended up without even a little feedback.

Question 1
The recruitment process was mainly focused on getting to know how I think and how I work. They asked me to show some of my portfolio. The design team had a card-sorting-like game in which we selected subjects at random and talked about them, which I found engaging and interesting.
