I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco
Interview
The hiring process was very negative. I had a rude interviewer who had not read my CV at all. The worst bit was when I ran through my career history and mentioned I worked for a foreign company, the interviewer clearly showed disgust. Struck me as biased and surprised me that British companies like Tesco, nowadays, are not even making an effort. All these slogans of celebrating diversity are a lie, the truth is that Tesco only prefers employing ethnic minorities to fill their low-pay, low-rank openings. Manager and the levels above are out of reach and preserved for white British people only, and this is the case and exactly what I have noticed in their HQs.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All Qs are fairly generic but relevant to the job role.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco (Bengaluru) in Sep 2024
Interview
Interview was on teams conducted for the position of Manager Group VAT role. Interviewer asked technicals questions on VAT, team management, situation bases questions.
Even they select the candidate, they will interview more candidate and select one of them in one round of interview. However, i believe when they have multiple shortlisted candidates, they could gave conduct one more interview with the next level to avoide any biasness.
Tesco is very late in updating the status of interview with the candidate. They shoul also takeup candidate if they really satisfied with the experiance rather rather just to have more details.
I applied online. I interviewed at Tesco (Taunton, Inghilterra) in Sep 2024
Interview
Very long and unnecessary. Was asked the same questions several times by different people. Waste of time for everyone. Definitely would not recommend. The first interview kept getting cancelled and reached and no explanation was ever given!
