I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target
Interview
I went in to the store applied, and interviewed on the same day. Got a call a couple days later that they wanted to hire me. Came back in to sign some papers and then had to go do a drug test.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked lots of situational questions like "Name a time you helped somebody even though they didn't ask for help" or "Tell me about a time you had to work with a team." Fairly simple questions but you have to come up with scenarios quick.
Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.
It was interesting. Not hard at all, straightforward, and pretty open people. It was an okay interview and what you’d typically expect. So don’t stress stress it, I mean kinda try your best
