I applied online. I interviewed at Target in Feb 2022
Interview
The first step was a phone screening. They asked the usual screening questions and also a few more advanced ones.
After that was a technical screening. The questions were about the technologies I use in my current position and how I used them. They seemed really obsessed with talking about REST APIs so most of the questions might be about that. There were also a few questions about my preferences for a new position which were kind of vague It was scheduled for a half hour and took the whole time. I thought I did okay in this interview.
The next step was to do a case study (a type of technical assessment) and then go though 4 interviews. The interviews would be a mix of behavioral and technical questions and also would discuss the case study. Unfortunately, I decided that since I already had a job that I don't have any major problems in, I didn't have the patience to go through the rest of the process.
Was pretty straightforward. A few calls and a take home test followed by a higher level in person discussion. I enjoyed the interview process as everyone was quick to respond to me and accomodating.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Target (Bengaluru) in Dec 2021
Interview
The process was good and the level of questions was medium. Strong OOPS knowledge is required and concepts of core java are required. The overall process is good and having good communication skills is an advantage.
