Finally got a call from Target, after months since I applied. The interview process was easy, nice people who did the interviewing. Basic questions, Why do you want to work for Target? Availability is and or could be based on if you really want the job/get hired. If you are knowledgable and friendly and have open availability you pretty much got the job.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Target (Peoria, IL) in Nov 2013
Interview
I submitted my app online and was contacted for an interview within 2 days. Once I arrived at the store I had to wait for 45 mins until the HR manager and interviewer were back from lunch. (unprofessional). I was then greeted and taken back to a small room in the back by stock. I was asked the basic questions.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target in May 2013
Interview
There will be two interviews. The first is a phone interview that doesn't last long, asking you simple questions like what does opportunity mean to you. The second interview is in person and asks scenario based questions like "name a time when..." They hired me immediately after the second interview so I think if you get to the second interview you are in a good position.

Question 1
Target wants to make sure you will work well on their team, so the interviewer will ask a lot of questions on how you will work with others and ask for previous times you worked well with others. They also asked "what is one thing you can improve about yourself." Not necessarily a tough question but one to think about.
