Interview
I applied online and within the next 24 hours received a missed phone call from target. I called back and they told me to come in for an interview. When i first walked in i felt really awkward like an outsider cause they make you walk through one of the back doors and its only employees only so it was a little uncomfortable. They sat me down in the break room and they gave me a multiple test i guess you could call it that. It was about 12 questions each with a scenario and they asked you which would be the best answer and which would be the worst. Pretty straight forward. They called me and i had an interview with a GSTL which is basically the manager for the cashier and guest service department asked me a bunch of scenarios that could be related to either work or school. Then they sat me back down in the break room. I sat there for maybe 30 minutes, he called me back to watch a video about target and then i was sent back to the break room and then they finally called me for my final interview with the head manager of target. He asked me a bunch of scenarios like the first interview and then offered me the job on the spot, I accepted and now i work as a cashier for target!
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Antioch, CA) in Jul 2014
Interview
There was a total of 3 interviews in one day. The interview process was fairly simple. I applied for a cashier but got talked into the Softlines position. Questions were supposed to be answered in 3 parts and the people who interview are ETL's. Most are friendly during the interview. Right after you are offers the position you must take a drug test within 24 hours. Review everyone's Glassdoor questions, the questions come from a paper packet and they write down your answers so most questions are the same for everyone
