Strategy& Associate interview questions

The process started with a paper round (CV, resume & grades). They quickly got back to me to schedule the first round of interviews, which consisted of 1 behavioral and 1 case interview. In between, I got an e-mail from an external platform that requested me to complete an online test that I had not been informed about, nor did I hear anything about it after completion (strange?). I also received a link to a platform that offered information about Strategy&, its people, and the interview process. This was very helpful! The second and final round consisted of 3 case interviews with partners, for which half of the interview focused on personal fit. With regards to my experience: Strategy& should really work on its recruitment if they do not want to lose any candidates. First of all, the recruiter forgot to schedule my practice case (a problem that I have heard from multiple candidates), so I had to remind her about this. Secondly, after passing the first round of interviews and scheduling the final round 3 weeks later, my final round got cancelled 2 days in advance because they could not find an interviewer. It then took them over a week to get back to me with a new interview date. On the day of my final interviews, they called me <30 mins in advance to inform me about a change in the interviewers. When I got there, I reported to reception (as requested), but no one came down to get me. Apparently something had gone wrong at the reception, so I was late for my first interview even though I arrived at the office 10 mins in advance. Moreover, you usually get a call the same day to hear whether they will extend an offer or not, but they were unable to get the interviewers together for the evaluation for 2 days?! I have never had this many issues with interviews before. Besides the logistics, I had a pleasant interview experience and everyone I talked to was very nice and helpful. However, the overall process was very unprofessional and was one of the reasons why I decided to turn down their offer.

Anspruchsvolle aber durchgehend angenehme interviews (online). Verbesserungsvorschläge: - wieder auf offline umsteigen, da es beiden Seiten einen besseren Eindruck vermittelt - falls Online, gerne mit einer klaren Agenda und vorher eingestellten Terminen. Eine kurze Einführung mit einem Partner würde auch nicht schaden.
