I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Standard Chartered Bank in Sep 2010
Interview
The interviews are easy if you understand the logic behind them. I had a phone interview first and then a 1:1 interview with 2 Managers.
The phone interview is used to make sure that you are who you say you are. That is, I wouldn't advise on being creative during the Talent Assessment. I know that you may want to appear the very best candidate but unless you have a astonishing memory, chances are that during the first interview discrepancies will appear between the way you, talk, behave, answer questions, and the question content in itself that there is a high likelihood that you will be dropped.
If you are truthful and did fail the Talent Assessment then just be a nice grown-up, admit that you are not what SCIG is looking for and try to find a job that matches your personality and the way you work.
If in the likelihood that you did lie through your teeth during the Talent Assessment and do make it to the 2 round of interviews then you can focus on practicing standard interview techniques.
But be warned, some questions during the 2nd round are also asked to verify the veracity of your application.
Overall I discouraged any form of lying because it is easy to identify mistakes or flaws.
Other than that if you do get accepted then congratulations, you really are what SCIG is looking for!

Question 1
What would you do if what energizes is absent from the workplace?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Standard Chartered Bank in Feb 2011
Interview
Got a call from HR for asking if I'm interested it or not, I said yes then went through the interview process. Since I'm in the states and the interviewers are in Singapore, it's just phone interview. They need someone to work on their system, and their business focusing on fixed income on emerging market and FX options. They mainly asked some finance questions, like basic knowledge on options, how to derive black-scholes formula, and some C++ and SQL questions. It's basically not a tough one.
