Question 1
Describe a time when you needed to ask for feedback or advice
First round interview with manager was required to be in person, in the office. Bunch of super specific questions around their process, and not much about you as a candidate. At the very end of the interview was suggested to go with a more junior position instead of a senior one. They should have started off the conversation with that, based on what my resume stated. What an unprofessional and degrading conversation "hey you're not good enough for this role you want. How about you go with this junior one instead that is $30k lower in salary" was the conversation essentially. What a waste of time. In that case, why did they make me come down to their office if they didn't think I was a good fit for the role?!?! Gave off a very toxic manager style.
