I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shell (Victoria, BC) in Feb 2016

did online assessment test and got an interview. most of them were behavioral qustions, very easy. the interviewer has a strong accent, I had a hard time understanding some of his questions. not good
The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Shell (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2016
Interview
Very standardized - the interviewer had questions by "topics", and he verbally told me that we're now moving on to this type of question or questions that touch on that topic. It was kind of weird just because I've never experienced that before, but I don't think it's that strange, just that other usually don't verbally mention it.
It was a phone interview but I think the interviewer had some sort of fill-in-the-blank sheet with the "CAR" method. When he asked me a question, I usually replied and hit all three parts, but still he always asked me separately "and what the action you took?", "so what did this result in?" It was a awkward for me to repeat my answer in this manner, which I think really took away from my interview.
The interviewer was really friendly and nice, I just wished he listened to my original answer a little more and didn't ask me questions I already answered.
And the online tests were mostly easy, except the skill testing which I didn't get to finish. Process was really fast, got an interview in less than a week from submitting my resume online.
Also wished they were more detailed in their rejection letter, because I couldn't really tell if my interview was terrible enough to lose me the job or not.

Question 1
"What was one situation where you had to convince a stubborn person of something?"
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shell (Ann Arbor, MI) in Oct 2015
Interview
I passed the online assessments and then had an in-person interview. The questions were all behavior based and hard to answer at times. When providing an example and giving and answer, they would then have you elaborate on certain aspects/challenges that were not always the best questions to answer with the first example given.
