I feel the interview process is very impersonal. The way in which it is set up almost made me decide to opt out of the opportunity all together. In my eyes the process should connect people locally to see if the experience and click would provide mutual benefit. Instead, you are mostly providing info to a computer system and talking to recruiters on the other side of the world.

Shell will send you an assessment for you to complete and will provide you with a competency report. They will then review and contact you when they are ready to move forward with the next steps.
I made the virtual job tryout that was an aptitude test with questions to understand your approach to work and your personality. Then I did ODVI, which was a set of 3 questions about your personal experience for which you had to record your answer.
