I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Salesforce (Indianapolis, IN) in Mar 2021
Interview
I made it till 5th round.
Applied through a referral
The first one was with the Recruiter and it was mostly if I'm the right candidate for the role
Second with the Lead engineer which more on experience and technical challenges
The third is a SQL Hackerrank assessment and it had 5 questions. They are Above average to Hard level.
Fourth is a Python Code pairing with the lead engineer. Basic LEET questions were asked.
Fifth is a behavioural interview with the Hiring Manager.
After this got to know from the recruiter that there are other candidates with better knowledge and skills and then rejected.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2020
Interview
The beginning of the interview went pretty smooth until the second round. It was a big surprise! He told me that he didn't even know what position I was interviewing and he was also trying to baking something since he made some mistake during the lunch time?!?
It called the technique round but it was really a type of "Tell me when xxxxx" and asked me Excel questions for a Data Engineer role?!
