Applied online, got a phone interview about 2 days later, then had an interview. Super laid back. Got a call about 3 days later saying I got the job. Pretended to be surprised

Applied online after seeing the posting on Indeed. The very next day they called me back for an interview. It seemed to go well, the hiring manager and I made some small talk and I asked about his family and stuff. At the very end when he asked if I had any questions for him I kind of froze up and was like "uhh.. when can I start?" Which is really dumb in retrospect. I could have asked how many hours a week I would get or what the pay was like.. he said he would let me know his decision after he was done with all his other interviews. This was only yesterday (3/17) so I'm still waiting to hear back.
