I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Planet Fitness (Dayton, OH) in Jan 2016
Interview
The "interview" lasted all of ten minutes. It consisted of asking availability and when you can start. I applied online and called to ask about the status of my application. The manager answer and told me he would call back in five minutes when he went back to the office. Four days went by and he did not call, so I called again and he asked if I could come in that day. I went it and he had forgotten that he scheduled an interview with me and was on break at the time I came in. I waited at the front desk for him to get back from McDonalds and he proceed to eat his food while he spoke to me about the job.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Planet Fitness (Edison, NJ) in Jan 2016
Interview
Interviewed by one manager. Sat in front of members, so they heard the whole interview process. It took about 15 minutes and I was interviewed alongside another candidate. It was very relaxed, the interviewer was very interested in what we both had to say and were open to us asking questions. The interviewer was also really nice and told us that they would call us at the end of the day for an offer. We both got hired a few hours after our interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is your availability? Do you enjoy working in a team environment? How would you handle an upset member? What if a member said something inappropriate to you?
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Planet Fitness (Shelby Township, MI) in Apr 2015
Interview
Interview process is long and arduous. They really can cut most of those questions in the interview guide. Some questions are irrelevant to the job. Prepare for anything when going in.
