I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Oracle (Burlington, MA) in Jan 2015
Interview
I worked with the Oracle recruiting team extensively to find an appropriate team in the Boston area. For about 3 weeks, I was interviewing with several teams in the area, mostly in Burlington, but also a team in Cambridge. I'll admit that the nerves got the better of me in some of the interviews and I bombed a couple. However, there were others where I felt that it had gone well but the interview teams did not feel the same way. I don't know what they were expecting, especially after one interview where I had solved the vast majority of the technical questions correctly. After a couple weeks, they were having difficulty finding a team to hire me in Massachusetts and suggested relocating to the Bay Area or to another state (which was never a plan I had in mind). Towards the end of the process, they found a couple more teams in Burlington where I could interview. A couple days before, I withdrew because I had accepted an offer elsewhere.
