The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Novartis (East Hanover, NJ) in Apr 2009
Interview
I had to give a 30 minute seminar for an MS level bench scientist position. It was an all day interview consisting of the seminar (~40 minutes) and 30 minute meetings with individual team members, up to the VP, as well as a tour of the facilities. We had lunch in the the company cafeteria, courtesy of the department, and the food was above average. Overall, it was a good interview experience.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Novartis (Cambridge, MA) in Sep 2009
Interview
This was a campus interview. I had to present a 25 minute presentation and they asked questions about my chemistry. Also, general questions about when I could start.
