I applied in-person. I interviewed at NHS (Swansea, Galles) in Jun 2010
Interview
Ad-hoc. Meet the panel beforehand to plan the interview presentation. 5 minute powerpoint presentation typically required, with topic given beforehand, at least 2 weeks in advance. Panel is mainly hospital management and the interview is a management-style theme accordingly, This is not representative of the job itself, so the interview requires a crash course in self-directed learning relating to the NHS!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Nil, actually. By meeting the panel, the questions are pretty predictable

Interview
It was commencement of the MMC programme and interviews were held by a panel of interviewers, and the successful candidates would be allocated posts in the deanery. Since it was not hospital or role specific, the interview focused on candidates past experiences and theoretical scenarios.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The most difficult thing was that the application had been filled online approx 6-8 weeks prior to the interview which included theoretical scenarios. They wanted to know what I had answered to those in the application, and it was hard recalling it.
