I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NHS (Londra, Inghilterra) in Jun 2016
Interview
I was put forward by a recruitment agency for a role the hiring manager had been trying to fill for a while. It was a formal competency based interview. Panel seemed nice. Interview lasted around 45 minutes. Was able to ask questions at the end.

Interview
I filled in an application form and then heard back a few days later. I was asked to attend an interview at the hospital I wanted to volunteer at. I was interviewed by a panel of three people - a volunteer co-ordinator, one of the senior nurses at the hospital and someone from the team I now work with. The interview was very informal and short. I was also required to complete a DBS (formerly CRB) check, because the role involves working with vulnerable people.
