I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Modis
Interview
It was apparent the district manager already had his mind made up prior to contacting me. I was not asked a single question about my resume, skills or experiences. Only described the job. Definitely was not a phone screen- was clearly just going through the motions...Spoke as if I already had the job. When I followed up 3 days later- I was told another candidate was chosen that was a way "better fit". (I assume he knew this before he picked up the phone and called me) If you already had your mind made up- why bother calling me? Stop wasting people's time and if you're not interested- let people know in advance versus waiting 3 weeks to call them after you've already pre-judged and disqualified them in your mind.
I don't care how busy you are or how you got to where you are- show people some respect and have some regard for people as individuals. Being underemployed is as stressful and devastating as it is- having an arrogant and detached interviewer is definitely not a self-esteem booster or a source of motivation.

Question 1
I was never asked any questions other than if I had any questions. Interviewer was detached and not interested in hearing or learning anything about me.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Modis (Charlotte, NC) in May 2014
Interview
I initially had multiple phone screens both with the local Charlotte office as well as national directors that oversaw that office to ensure it would be a good fit. I was coming from out of town so once these phone interviews were completed I came for an in-person interview to meet with the director of the office as well as a number of senior recruiters and business development managers on a 2-1 or 1-1 basis so was able to really ask a lot of questions and get a lot of different opinions about the company and how my background would fit.
