Interview
Standard interview process like Facebook/Google/Amazon. Set of technical whiteboard challenges and design questions. The technical questions mostly tried to vet out if you have a good background in data structures and the design question is to understand your ability to decompose problems into smaller chunks.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Microsoft (Bengaluru) in Aug 2018

*****Please do not go when called for hiring drive events*****
It was a hiring drive conducted in Bangalore Centre for Hyderabad location. The interview process consisted of 3 major algorithm and data structures rounds that happened on that day. Not sure about further rounds as they didn't happen.

They took all day from 11 AM to 7 PM.... Conducted only 3 rounds....I had positive feedback for 3 rounds....At 7 PM HR came and said they would revert in a week for details on further process.
2 weeks passed, but no update from HR. When I followed up, HR said that the team is currently not hiring.
I don't know, why would they conduct interview in such a case. Or at least the HR, should have had the courtesy of reverting about the same.
I would advise to not to go for hiring drives. If you are going and all rounds do not get completed on the same day, then do not think that further rounds are going to happen.
In hiring drives HR's intention is to just get as many people for the interview.
This was an all-day affair where I was interviewed by four or five different managers, including a lunch interview. I was asked to solve programming puzzles as well as about my work history.
