Microsoft Software Engineer(Internship) interview questions

It was a string problem. The problem wasn't too hard, and the interviewer was patient. I did not have to actually use the test cases. The interviewer just asked me to talk it through.

This was before COVID. The interview was on-site, but when I arrived they said they were either running behind on interviews or didn't have enough interviewers. They had not informed me about this. They ended up rescheduling my interview for three hours later. That was incredibly annoying, and I felt pretty disrespected the whole time I was there.
