I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Microsoft (Bengaluru) in Mar 2021
Interview
Average difficulty interview. The first 2 were technical interviews that involved coding. The interviewers were helpful in trying to push in the right direction by giving hints and set a positive atmosphere throughout.
The interviewer in the third round could not express well of what he wanted. He said high level design/implementation of the game of battleship. I started with a matrix implementation. Midway he said he did not communicate properly but instead wanted a different approach like a list of position objects. From there the whole discussion went downhill. There was a lot of random unconnected conversations and I could not understand what he was expecting as the final output. I got rejected after this round as expected. It would have helped if there was a clear expectation of the end result from the interview discussion. It felt like an hour of random unconnected and ever changing conversations.

Very proffesional, introduction went smoothly, then I had a small talk with the interviewer about his favourite golf club. He gather information regarding my past work experience and my skills. Asked me questions regarding where I should stand with the company.

Interview
I had the opportunity to interview with the CSEO team during one of their Interview days. The team was very nice and engaged and I spoke with 4 individuals in 4 different teams under the CSEO's umbrella. Each one had a coding challenge that dealt with different data structures. Although I didn't receive an offer, it was a great opportunity to speak with the team. I had a wonderful recruiter helping through the process (I will say, some of the recruiters are a hit or miss, hopefully you get a good responsive individual!).
