I went through Meta’s Software Engineer interview process, which included a recruiter screen, a technical phone interview, and a virtual onsite with coding, system design, and behavioral rounds. The interviewers were direct but supportive, and the questions were mostly LeetCode-style problems and high-level design discussions. I didn’t receive an offer in the end, but the process was structured, fast, and a good reflection of Meta’s engineering expectations.
First was online OA. Next was full loop. Full loop was two technical rounds and one behavioral. The technical rounds are always 2 leetcode questions in 45 minutes. Heard result 2 months after last round.
Quite challenging - many interviews for one role, way too many compared to any other company - tests on things you would never usually be expected to know too, a lot of it technical - i didnt even reach the non-technical stage
