I applied online. I interviewed at Meta (Menlo Park, CA) in Dec 2023
Interview
Recruiter call, then phone screen with coding, then on-site with two coding rounds (each with two coding questions), product design, and behavioral.
Overall, not too hard, mostly leetcode mediums. Product design was also not too bad, one of the common problems. Did pretty well on coding rounds, but seems I didn't get the offer maybe because of behavioral or design.
But the recruiter was not very helpful. Very slow in responding and ghosts some emails. No feedback at all.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me a time when you had to make priority calls.
The technical round hit me with a classic array manipulation problem: moving zeroes to the end without disrupting the order of non-zero elements. As I tackled it, I felt a wave of familiarity wash over me; I had just practiced a similar challenge on PracHub. The rest of the interview followed a straightforward path, with some easy behavioral questions sprinkled in. Overall, it felt very easy, but I wasn’t quite the right fit for what they needed, so I didn’t receive an offer.
