I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at McDonald's (Burwood, Victoria) in Mar 2026
Interview
The interviewer was really nice and I felt like she was really patient. She asked very general questions and it was over way quicker than I thought. The whole interview felt a bit rushed and I don’t know if she took the time to properly ask me questions. She skipped quickly to asking me my availability which made me think I had a good shot at getting hired! We agreed on times and days which I would work. I was slightly surprised when I didn’t get offered a job because she seemed to very interested.

A group interview setting. Very casual, and involved discussing things in a group. You partake in icebreakers, and some roleplay relevant to the workplace. They take note of who is speaking the most confidently and leading tasks.
