Filled out another application. Proceeded to tell me that I did not have enough current managerial or eyeglasses experience.
They prefer supervisors to be experienced/ current supervisors because there is so much to learn in this industry, it's important to have current managerial experience to allow concentration on new processes and nuances of this industry.

I had 2 interviews. 1 in person and 1 over the phone. I was asked basic questions and about my previous experience. After my 2nd interview, I had to wait about 1 week to hear if I got the job.

Interview
I met with the district manager. We had a 45 minute interview where she asked specific industry and retail management questions. About two days later the district manager gave me a call and said their was a location in lower manhattan she thought I'd be a good fit for, and I interviewed with that Store manager. I was hired about 2-3 days later.

I spoke with a manager of another store who left the company a few months later. I was then placed in "real world" situations where I had to solve customer/employee issues.
