I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at LensCrafters (San Diego, CA)
Interview
Very casual. He went over my previous experience and asked what my daily duties at each of my past and current optical jobs. Asked me what insurances have I dealt with. Told me what they expected and what they do that is different than private practice. Asked what were my expectations and goals. He probably asked this because 10+ years of my life was in optical and I recently got out of the industry and now returning for a part time position. Anyway, very friendly and not intimidating. They try to get to know you and asked me about my hobbies because I have a volunteer section on my resume. Told me they although I have the experience, they are looking for full time but will stay in touch.
