I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan in May 2021
Interview
Do Recruiters get bonuses for pushing HireVue tests? I was told to take one ASAP so I could be included in a 90 minute hiring event in 2 days. Was told to just do my best, that it’s ok if I don’t finish, results will just be used as a snapshot for which position would be a best fit. So without brushing up on my HireVue tutorials, which I haven’t done in a couple years, I rushed into the exam link which the recruiter’s email said to do asap. Guess I didn’t do well because I got ghosted. No follow up, no invitation to the hiring event - very unprofessional. I don’t care for companies that use these tactics. Maybe I’ll get a rejection email in a couple months from Chase, but I won’t hold my breath.

I applied online. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (Singapore) in Dec 2020
Interview
I applied online for JPM Singapore and had 3 round of interview:
1st: Technical round with two interviewer(1 hour) - They just basically went through my resume and asked questions from every technology stack ( Java, Spring, DB, Design Pattern). They woudn't bother you to insult you if you unable to answer and if you put something in your resume. I remember they asked me whether i am aware of "SOLID" principle, and i said i dont know and they were quite surprised. But I have managed to answer all other questions properly.
2nd Round: Another technical interview with another two interviewer - Again 1 and half hour interview and they asked about a various different questions from Java( heavily on Concurrency and Collection, Concurrent Collections), Spring microservice , Authentications, Oracle DB, query optimisation, indexing etc.
3rd: Final round with ED:- Asked lot of finance related questions and it was more of discussion session, he was super nice and explained me his team and his role and how they work. He even explained to me his question's answer and we discussed "Equity, Bonds, 2008 Financial Crisis, AML etc.
