The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Intel Corporation in Apr 2011
Interview
Had a 30 minute phone call before being invited to on site. 3 interviewees were called for on site interview, including me.
4 people interviewed each for 1 hour. Each took turn to interview one of the interviewee. Was surprised to see that the interviewers brought interview questions neatly printed and was made to write answers on those sheets. Think this answer sheets will later be used to evaluate all the interviewees.
First round was related to C++, System Verilog. Second round was computer architecture in general, a few behavioral questions. Third round was on Static Timing Analysis. Fourth round was digital design.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
I dint expect behavioral questions like, why should we hire you, tell me about yourself, what do your friends/prof/former employee say about you.
One of the tough questions was that you are given some data table for two communicating blocks . you are supposed to calculate latency and bandwidth. struggled to find out the band width.
