I applied through college or university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Honeywell (Bengaluru) in Aug 2015
Interview
the company came to my college(msrit) for hiring. The process had 3 rounds
1)online test
2)technical interview
3)hr round
1)online test :- had question based on Quantitative analysis + logical reasoning + verbal reasoning questions. Overall it was aptitude test plus basic knowledge of English language test.
2)technical interview :- he first looked into my resume and asked few questions about my project. He gave me a problem and asked me to give him a solution. The problem was:
"i have helicopter, in which there is a device which records some data(both crucial and non crucial) and stores it in the sd card. now whenever it lands, an engineer runs towards it with an ethernet cable, plugs it into the device to copy the data. Now this process is very time consuming, if i have 1000 planes a lot of time is wasted in this slow process.Give me a solution to copy data faster and efficiently."
I gave 2 solutions, he was happy with both the answers. I had to explain him each and everything about the solution, like which microcontroller to use, how to do connections, what other devices i need, how to program them(debugger + language), and every detail.
after that my interview was over.
3)hr round :- it was simple, just like every hr round.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Honeywell (Phoenix, AZ) in Oct 2014
Interview
1st interview was over the phone. Mostly went over resume and what was on that. Elaborated on some projects that I had done in school. 2nd interview was onsite. More of the same as the phone interview. They showed me around and gave me the opportunity to learn more about what I would be doing if hired. I got to ask a lot of questions and get a feel for the job. They also took me out to lunch.
