I felt that their blueprint for interviews was very good, but unfortunately i got a grumpy one as my interviewer. I did good, but it didnt please the grumpy grandpa
The interview process consisted of three technical coding interviews, one behavioral round, and one additional coding interview. The coding questions were quite challenging and required strong problem-solving and algorithm skills. The behavioral round focused on teamwork, communication, and past experiences. Overall, the process was rigorous but fair.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Google (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2024
Interview
Hey everyone,
I just wrapped up my Google interview, and I’m eagerly waiting for feedback – the anticipation is intense! Here’s how each round went:
Round 1:
Question Type: Medium DP Question
Outcome: Solved with O(N). I felt confident about understanding the problem and executing the solution well.
Round 2:
Question Type: Medium Graph Problem
Outcome: Solved with O(N) again! I felt good about my answers and addressed all questions thoroughly.
Round 3:
Question Type: Networking Calls Problem
Outcome: This was a challenging one! Initially, I wasn’t sure how to tackle it, but with some hints from the interviewer, I managed to produce a most basic solution. Then time was over.
Round 4:
Type: Googleyness Round
Outcome: It went smoothly. I focused on aligning my responses with Google’s core values, tackling both behavioral and value-based questions.
Now, the wait begins! If anyone has insights on the wait time or the outcome, please share. I’d love to know how it went for others in similar situations. Thanks!
