I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Tel Aviv)
Interview
The interview lasted about an hour or so. The interviewer was very respectful, patient and pleasant. A large part of the interview included statistical questions. Also asked about some interesting problem I've solved in the past.
I interviewed at Google (Mountain View, CA) in Feb 2025
Interview
Applied online and had a recruiter phone screening round in about 2 weeks - basic past experiences and role expectations. Then it was a day long onsite with 3 rounds with multiple interviewers spanning questions across data analysis, algorithms, and coding. High level - first round SQL with product cases, second round behavioral/googlyness, and third round around python and ML concepts. Expect each round to be around 45 mins. Questions were not very hard but it does require practice on LC. Behavioral and Googlyness was quite obvious - they tend to ask culture fit ques, which I practiced with a Google DS coach on Prepfully eariler. Onsite was day long but worth it (was offered lunch at Google Cafe). It's an amazing campus btw!
