I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2023
Interview
I recently went through the hiring process at Glassdoor, and I must say it was one of the most seamless and transparent experiences I've ever had. The recruitment team, especially Evan and Danny, were extremely supportive throughout the entire process.
First Round:
The journey began with a meeting with the hiring manager. This round was a pleasant conversation that focused mainly on my past experiences and included some basic technical questions relevant to the job description. Their approach was friendly and made me feel at ease right from the start.
Second and Third Rounds:
The technical aspects of the process were covered in the second and third rounds. The second round mainly revolved around Leetcode questions, where I also discussed time and space complexity for the solutions I proposed. The third round concentrated on SQL, which I found quite engaging.
Final Round:
The final round was essentially a wrap-up call. It was more of a discussion regarding the pay, job location, and an opportunity for me to give feedback on the interview process. This round truly reflected the company's commitment to transparency and open communication.
Throughout the process, every member of the hiring team I interacted with was easygoing, making each interview feel more like a conversation rather than a formal interrogation. This approach significantly reduced the stress typically associated with interviews.
