I applied online. I interviewed at Glassdoor in Aug 2022
Interview
They give you a hw assignment to make an analysis but do not give you instructions on how to approach the result or what they are looking for. It can be approached in a simple or complex manner. I am used to doing a direct approach because CFOs do not care how you got there as long as you give them what they want. My approach was not what they were looking for, and I am not good at "guess what I am thinking". Clarity in giving reviews of companies, just not in their instructions to potential employees...all for the best I suppose.
Thank you so much for your feedback on the interviews and the take-home assignment specifically. We know take-home assignments take extra time, so really appreciate the time you spent on ours. Our teams hope to understand your thought process and how you get to your answer, but we can understand that more specific directions would be helpful for future candidates. Thank you again for your time and we wish you the best in your job search! - Cortney Holloway, Talent Acquisition Manager

Question 1
-Mainly Behavioral Questions, i.e. Tell me about a time when...
-You also have to walk through the Excel Case Study assumptions in the next rounds of interview
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2020
Interview
Phone interview with a recruiter, phone interview with hiring manager, case study, and a virtual onsite.
Interviews process took about 3 weeks. First two calls were about my background and previous projects. The case study was a broad analysis of the business with a data set. Virtual onsite was smooth and we debriefed the case study.
The recruiter was readily available for questions and was extremely helpful. She was transparent throughout the process which is incredible during such unknown times. The team members were awesome to speak with and every conversation felt unique.
Unfortunately I did not get the offer due to my experience level. I wish I knew this before spending 2 days working on a case study, preparing, and interviewing.
