I'm not sure if my recruiter was just incompetent or if this is standard, but to preface I never answer calls from unknown numbers, and I feel like this is standard. If you leave a voicemail I will call back, or you can email me where I will respond.
I had scheduled an interview with my recruiter via email for next week when suddenly today I got an email saying my application had been withdrawn. I never instructed them to do this. I then discovered that my recruiter had been repeatedly calling me for a few days with a different phone number than what was listed in his initial email. He didn't leave a voicemail, and I can only assume he took my lack of answer to an unknown phone number to be some sort of withdrawal of my application.
Thankfully I already have another job offer from a different that I was likely going to accept regardless of the outcome of my FDM Group application, but this process left an extremely bad taste in my mouth.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group (Montréal, QC) in Sep 2024
Interview
The interview was conducted online, following an online behavioral assessment that FDM sent me. The interview lasted around 30 minutes and included both behavioral and programming questions. The interviewer checked communication skill and programming skills during the interview.
