I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at EY (Jedda) in Jun 2024
Interview
The first round involved a mix of behavioral and technical interviews. I spoke with a recruiter or HR person who focused on my past experiences, strengths, and weaknesses, using questions based on the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) method.
Next, I faced a technical interview where my knowledge of accounting principles, audit procedures, and relevant regulations was tested. I discussed specific scenarios, solved case studies, and answered technical questions related to auditing.
If I progressed past the initial rounds, I had a final interview with senior auditors or managers. This interview was more about assessing my fit within the team and EY’s culture, as well as my long-term career goals. I demonstrated my ability to handle complex audit scenarios and showcased my interpersonal skills.
