I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2020
Interview
The process was relatively laid back and easy. I met with two partners in the tax service line, who were from my desired office location. I talked to each one for 30 minutes. During the whole time, they maybe asked one or two behavioral questions. The rest of the time was just us chatting about hobbies, and me asking questions about their time at Deloitte. Make sure you have a long list of questions prepared! If you can get the partner talking about themselves, you'll be golden. They love nothing more than to go on about everything that they've accomplished.
Before the interview, they required me to take a personality quiz. This has absolutely no bearing on whether or not they offer you the job (my recruiter told me), it's just for fun and to get to know you a little bit before the partners sit down with you.
The interview process was well organized, and the interviewers were professional and approachable throughout. The overall experience was smooth, with clear communication at each stage. The complete process took around 1–2 weeks and consisted of multiple rounds, including technical and HR discussions, depending on the role and business unit.
2 stages
assessment centre and one to one interview
assessment centre was just a typical group activity to determine what projects are worth pursuing based on budget with a small twist at the end
and one-to-one was more personal and them getting to know you
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
tell us about yourself and why you think this opportunity is benefical to you
Nice, and clear. Began with HR interview round, then had an interview with manager which included a IT based case study for the APA role for en entry level career starter. Process was clear and was always notified regarding next steps.
