Interview
Two hiring activities - campus and laterals. Lateral hires are mostly employee referrals - make sure you get your resume through to someone in your network in the advisory team.
In the campus, preference is given to people who have long-term interest in finance and valuation, and attitude.
For laterals, preference is given to people who can establish long-term interest in valuation.

The interview process was professional and well-organized. It started with an initial HR screening where they asked about my background, availability, salary expectations, and interest in Deloitte. After that, I had a technical and behavioral interview with the team. They asked about my previous experience, how I handle pressure, and how I would work with clients in a fast-paced consulting environment. Overall, the difficulty was average.

They asked me why I wanted to join Deloitte and how my skills and previous experience would help me succeed as an Associate in Dubai.
It was a two stage interview. First the managers interview which also serves as the panel interview. Then the partners interview. Ideally, it is mostly brief. it can be one or more partner.

Overall, it was a good experience. Suggest preparing well and being honest to align with the company’s values and long-term goals. The questions vary depending on the role probably. Also suggest preparing your own questions, those are always important.
