Three rounds of interview, first with local, second with regional, third with HR.
Local came as 2 people, asked for a case presentation and it's perfectly normal as many companies now do ask the candidate to do so to assess critical thinking. 1 hour presentation
Regional wanted to assess experience working across borders and candidate experience. Interview lady was very kind and explained the line of work. Also within reason as want to assess candidate on dealing with stakeholders overseas
HR was unpleasant. Overall it came as a shock whether it was a personality test or not but given she
1. Crossed legs over on the meeting table and leaning way back on her seat, sure it's a startup firm and pretty free but that's just unprofessional and domineering given she came from a financial services company
2. Stated she really "hated" the line of work (at least 2 times) where I came from even though she was only in the line of work where I was for less than 9 months.
3. Looked down on me by stating that she's done this so many times locally, regionally and she's experienced, and kept looking at the time on the TV.
Honestly I wanted to give a "positive experience" but the HR round was just too unprofessional and unpleasant to be in the room with.

Question 1
- Local: Case Interview
- Regional: Operations and Stakeholder management
- HR: I really don't know what this was about, just plain rude
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deliveroo (Londra, Inghilterra) in Dec 2025
Interview
1 screening, 3 interviews. Screening was fine but very formulaic. I answered some questions before they asked, but they still asked them again anyway. First round with hiring manager went well. 2nd round with more senior manager was ok but focused almost entirely on what my negatives are. Final round was ok, a lot of scenario based questions. The interviewer was clearly stressed/preoccupied. They had just launched something a few days prior and they were clearly frustrated to be having to do interviews in the middle of it.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Deliveroo (Londra, Inghilterra) in Dec 2024
Interview
The process was conducted promptly, with timely follow-up over email and guidance on how to prepare. Questions were aligned with the job description. After an initial pre-screening, the next round was with the hiring manager.

Tell me about a time you had to influence senior stakeholders to trust your recommendation.
There are 3 rounds of interviews, you meet with HR, operational team and operations director. Very straight forward and take upto 2 months of process depending on the market conditions. But deliveroo interview team is transparent and very clear from the start
