Received a positive email within 24 hours from a Deliveroo Partnership Manager, offering an interview and to contact to confirm a date and time.
I emailed to thank them for the opportunity, requested a time I could call to confirm the interview time and asked for a copy of the position description.
The following day, I had not received a response, so called and left a voicemail and requested a connection on Linkedin.
The Deliveroo employee accepted my request and reviewed my Linkedin profile twice throughout the week however never responded to my email and call.
This is the most unprofessional recruitment process I have ever experienced. To offer an interview, request a call to action, then not respond to your applicant is disgraceful.
This role looked fantastic. Whether it was identified that I was over qualified or under qualified when my Linkedin profile was reviewed, or Deliveroo decided to take a different approach; advising the applicant would have been the professional and respectful approach.
Extremely disappointing.
