Conduent interview questions

I was contacted by a recruiter about a little over a week after applying. I then had an interview scheduled with the hiring manager. Interview was not easy or hard. He went over the position and then followed up with about 5 questions.

Interview process went via text in hangout app. They asked simple questions and finally asked my bank account number, login ID, and PASSWORD for payment. They also asked my security questions and answers. They say they are asking because their past experience from people. Has this happened to everyone?
