The online assessment is pretty standard across the industry, however the one Cisco sent was absolutely horrendous. For some reason they decided they wanted to make their own user interface instead of using established organizations like HackerRank and ended up with the worst online assessment I've seen. It enforced some weird version of Java and was overall a terrible experience
