I applied online. I interviewed at Capital One in Sep 2017
Interview
Applied for the Technology Development Program (as a software engineer). They came to my campus and we had 3 rounds of interviews. There was a technical interview, a case interview, and a standard behavioral. The technical interview had normal coding problems, pretty standard data structure/modeling questions. The case interview was new, but the interviewer really guided me through it, provided I asked the right questions. Don't be afraid to ask questions! With that, simple algebra and some common sense logic would get to a good conclusion. The behavioral was really simple. Just four hours after the interviews concluded, I was notified that I would get an offer. Very simple process.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in Sep 2017
Interview
I applied through my University career fair and got a call for an on-site interview within a week. The interview had normal behavioral questions like explain a technical concept to a non technical person, had a technical round where there were 3 questions and there was a case interview.
