I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (New York, NY) in Feb 2024
Interview
Besides of proctored CodeSignal online assessment, interview consists of the most important thing called "The Power Day". It is typically four 1-hour interviews in a row with 30 mins break. For me it was coding, system design, case study and behavioral.
I finished coding and system design in 55 minutes. Case study in ~25 mins and behavioral in ~15 minutes.
Even though those inteviews were ok and I completed all the tasks (as I assume), I've been ghosted by a recruiter without any feedback after the power day. In a week I got the basic workday rejection letter "Unfortunately we proceed with another candidates etc". No feedback was provided, no reason why I was rejected.
Another recruiter contacted me next day to assign one more interview, he told me my background and experience is really fit to theirs role, but "unfortunately, you can't interview after rejection in a 6 months, even for a different position".
I would say that interview process is generally neutral, but recruitment process is a mess. If you are little bit lucky probably you will pass it all. Btw only one of the interviewer on the power day was respectful in any way.

Power Day interviews:
Once you successfully complete the initial application steps, your recruiter will invite you to a series of interviews as part of the Power Day. Depending on the position, the interviews may include:
Job Fit Interview: All candidates will complete one or two job fit interviews during the Power Day. Job fit interviews assess your aptitude for the role, team and Capital One culture.
Behavioral Interview: Behavioral interview questions evaluate how you handled a particular experience. These questions typically follow the format of, “Tell me about a time when…” Behavioral interviewers assess competencies such as problem solving, influence or results focus. Behavioral interviews are used for most positions.
Case Interview: A case interactive is an interview where you must solve a real-life business problem. The interviewer will gauge your strategic thinking, analytical and quantitative skills.
Mini-case interviews are conducted in about 30 minutes. Campus, business analyst, product manager and finance positions typically require a case or mini-case interview.
