I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One in Oct 2018
Interview
Interview first with the recruiter, then a webex interview with 4 other staff members. To begin with, I'm a little uncomfortable with web ex interviews & the staff members doing the interviews didn't do anything to make it more comfortable. None of them utilized the video component, so I feel like I was dressed for no reason. Then a few of the interviews started late because the recruiter (I guess) provided them with the wrong information. Lastly, one of the interviewers just sounded like she didn't want to be there & was pretty crude in the way she asked her questions. Would not recommend.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Vienna, VA) in Feb 2019
Interview
Standard process initially, recruiter reached out, quick phone screen. Call with hiring manager to feel our position, then flew me on-site to discuss. Capital one on-sites however are a unique experience. First, they have an all day 9-3 affair, multiple case study’s, job fit, and a “lunch.” But mine was particularly interesting as the first interviewer did not show up and no explanation was given. Additionally they give interviewees a calculator for math equations, which, in this day and age shows just how far behind Capital One truly is.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Capital One
Interview
Standard financial case interview, no behavioral component. Jumped right into case because interviewer wanted to catch a train home and didn't want to waste time. Not interested in anything beyond being able to case well. No room for creativity.
