The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One in Oct 2011
Interview
The case given to us was new, so it took the interviewer a little longer to guide us through the process. The interviewer was really nice, and really prompted us to think about the details about the case and never once made me feel stupid or anything. I do not come from a business background, but the case was not too difficult either. As long as you get a decent night's sleep and can do some basic math, it should not be too difficult.

Question 1
When making the decision, other than the profit margin, what are other issues that you need to think of?
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in Oct 2011
Interview
The case interview is highly math driven. You should know how to calculate a breakeven point, understand revenue and cost factors. The interviewer will give you glues if you stuck. But you should always think out loud so the interviewer knows what clue to give you at the time. Overall, very positive experience!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Capital One in Sep 2011
Interview
I first got a call from a recruiter for the Sr. Business Analyst position. After the initial screening, there was an online test that I had to take which consisted of one quantitative and one verbal section. Having passed the test I had an in-person interview in McLean. There were three other candidates with me. We were all interviewed 1:1 by 3 interviewers. The interview consisted of two case study questions and one behavioral. Overall the interviews seemed easy. But I was not given an offer and I think they were looking for a candidate with experience.
