I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (New York, NY) in Feb 2023
Interview
3-4 rounds. About 3 weeks to extend an offer. Round 1 was very straightforward and not as personable as I expected. The recruiter did not even ask me to walk them through my resume. They already had project management-related questions
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you measure risk management? How do you communicate with multiple stakeholders? How do you deal with difficulty in a project?
Frist round included a virtual culture assessment. Online scenarios and options of what to chose so that they can see the types of decisions you make, not necessarily how you make these decisions.
The interview process was smooth overall. It started with a computer screening, followed by a 30-minute recruiter call focused on my experience and fit with Capital One. Then I had a one-hour “money case” discussing a Capital One product from different angles. I’ve now moved to the PowerDay round, which includes two product cases, one product skills round, and one product discovery round.
