The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Capital One in Sep 2010
Interview
Case interview. We had to assess the pricing strategy for Subway. not too hard, but made a few nervous mistakes. They ask mainly quantitative questions compared to other case interviews, but there was a few marketing related concept questions. none of the math is to difficult, but you get a calculator to use.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you calculate the average profit per sub sold given all these conditions?
Smooth; minicase is verbally presented; may be hard to understand depending on the interviewer. May need to ask many more questions to clarify the questions asked during the case. But overall, it is fairly easy
Three rounds of interviews, two of them are case based to assess technical knowledge (first case is relatively easy, calculation needed), one is mainly behavioural questions with the team leader
1st round was 45 mins. Simple case (profitability and basic business acumen) plus a bit of behavioural
2nd round was in-person; networking dinner the night before, and then two back to back interviews (an hour long case and a 30 min behavioural)

Question 1
For the case it was breakeven calculations and basic business questions (e.g. what are the risks and mitigations associated with this venture...)
