I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in May 2011
Interview
I was initially contacted by Capital One because my University forwarded to them my resume. They asked me to apply for the position on their website. Shortly after I received an email requesting that I complete an online skills test. This test was comprised of two parts, reading and math both of which are timed. A couple days after completing the tests I received another email from my recruiter requesting an on-site interview in Richmond, VA (all traveling expenses paid). A few weeks later, arrive in Richmond have dinner with previous year campus recruits and get to ask questions about interview process and work life at Capital One. Next day have three 1 hour long interviews, behavioral, job fit and case, afterwards lunch with more current employees, quick tour of campus and then depart.

I thought I did really well, but they emailed me back in a few hours, rejecting me. This was for the online test before the power day, and they didn't even give me a score.
